This blog was born from a desire to slow down — in the kitchen, in my home, and in my walk with God.
I’m learning how to cook more from scratch, eat less processed food, and live more intentionally — not because I have it all figured out, but because I want my life to reflect what truly matters.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by wellness culture, tired of extremes, or unsure where to even begin, you’re not alone. I’m right here with you.
Hi, I’m Olivia
Who this blog is for
Here, I share what I’m learning in real time:
Simple, approachable recipes using whole ingredients
Small steps toward eating less processed food
Beginner-friendly gardening and seasonal living
Faith-centered reflections on stewarding our bodies, homes, and time
Learning simple, approachable skincare and makeup routines with Mary Kay — focusing on caring for ourselves well, even as beginners
This blog isn’t about perfection or doing everything “right.”
It’s about choosing progress, presence, and faith — one meal, one habit, one season at a time.
Whether you’re just starting or simply craving a slower way of living, you’re welcome here
Let’s learn together.
A little more about me
I’m a true southern girl from Mississippi that fell in love with cooking at an early age. I decided to follow that dream by attending culinary school in south Louisiana. While in college, my relationship with Christ reignited and flourished. I have discovered a passion for hospitality and a love for others through Jesus. I love to create new recipes and share them with others at the dinner table as I live my life for my God above. I love to travel, create things through different hobbies (sewing, drawing, and crafting), and play with makeup and skincare.
